Assane Mbaye, Dakar 2002

PLEXUS ART CO-OPERA # 5
CARGO – ART & FOOD WITHOUT BORDERS – LOOKING FOR PARADISE
by The Centre for Australasian Theatre and Plexus International
Canopy Art Centre, Cairns, Queensland, Australia
In Order to Survive, The Voyage Continues...in Solidarity
From Kre M'Baye:
Plexus is a tendency in direction of the universal of the civilization. It is a way to put together all people, it is a tendency to watch what happens in this planet with a consciousness of what happens, with no separation between the world and the human being. It is not an organization, it is more about a philosophy, a thought a proposition, a regard on how we deal with the issue of the human being. It is a tendency in direction of the unity, against any definitions or classifications which make separations.
Without unity, in the respect of the diversity and quality of the human being there is not democracy.
To prepare the Plexus Art Co-Opera 5 that will be presented, at the Canopy Arts Centre, in Cairns, Australia, on 10 December 2014, directed by the modular construction of Guillaume 'Willem' Brugman, Centre for Australasian Theatre, on board the Plexus Voyage will revitalise the ecology of a collective memory, by “reading” and interpreting, from the multi-perspective collaborative vision, the 30years history of Plexus International, as a multicultural community-based art project.
