On February 3 of 1990, at Metateatro, on the occasion of Loreto Papadia’s birthday party,  it was staged the happening 1992 Christopher Columbus Voyage in the Planet of Art, Act 2,  featuring the departure to the San Pietro Island of a long fax made by hundred faces of artists to launch the open call 500 Names for 500 Years. It was organized by Cast in collaboration with Art&Mix, Flash Music, Futuro Telematico, Limbo, Tempo Reale, McLuhan & Co, Metateatro, Plexus 23 and the Columbus Consortium. Maria Pia Marsala performed the black princess of the 1989 Columbus Voyage in the Planet of art with Ciro Ciriacono travelling through light speed around the planet. At the end, The Italian Artistic Telematic Committee was formed by Glauco Benigni, Sandro Dernini, Francesco Franci, Giuseppe Salerno,  Enzo Ciarravano, Angelo Vittorioso, Stelio Fiorenza,  Loreto Papadia, Giovanna Colacevich, Costantino Morosini, Gianni Carpentieri, Agostino Milanese, Ciro Ciriacono, Piero Cianflone, Athon Veggi, Pino Licastro, Piero Marsili, Pippo Di Marca, Sandro Dernini, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Maria Pia Marsala, Fabrizio Bertuccioli and Micaela Serino. Its purpose was to organize, on the occasion of the 1992 Columbus event, a dematerialized voyage from the Island of San Pietro in Sardinia to the House of the Slaves in Goree, travelling  on a non linear route, to discover the interdependence of the world(s) as a change of route, south to south, in the geography of the knowledge. Few days after, near Rome, at the Carnival of Calcata, Maria Pia Marsala, Sandro Dernini, Loreto Papadia and Micaela Serino performed Cristopher Columbus Wanted – Change of Route as the departure toward the 1992 Columbus event of the Plexus Black Box Made in the Eighties for the ’92.
