On November 29 of 2001, in Rome, at Campo dei Fiori, and in Australia, at the Culture Lab, in  Yellow Rock, it was celebrated Buy Nothing Day, an art action against consumism. In Rome, it was performed by Giorgio Fiume, Micaela Serino, Valerio Immi, Marco Fioramanti, Silvana Marineiello, Raffaello Paiella, Eleonora del Brocco. In Yellow Rock, it was performed by Willem Brugman and Catherine Hassal, photographed by Juno Gemes.

On July 15of  2001, in Rome, at Metateatro.  In Order to Survive : An Other World is Possible, an art event to protest against the G8 in Genoa, featuring, Fabrizio Bertuccioli, Sandro Dernini  Micaela Serino, Roberto Maria Federici, Marco Fioramanti, Silvana Mariniello, Pilar Castel, Marco Vella Brega, Vincenzo Sparagna, Silvio Pasqualini, Paolo Buggiani, Giovanna Ducrot, Luisa Brunetti and others.
