On July 21 of 2006, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaries, at the C.
Columbus House, the Erosions and Renaissance Show Act 5 part 2 was staged with Nutrition without Borders, within the
training seminar Advancement on Nutrition
Obesity organized by the Research Group on Nutrition of the University,
directed by Lluis Serra Majem. It was addressed to alert that hunger,
malnutrition and food insecurity are eroding the cognitive capacities of the
world, in particular of the young generations of Africa. Installation by Sandro Dernini with art
works by Seni MBaye, Kre MBaye, Morin Diop, and children drawings from the
Medina of Dakar curated by Amewa Sall.

On June
27-29 of 2006, in
Cagliari, at the Galleria Capitol Arte
Contemporanea, it was held Nutrire l’Arte, a fundraising art auction organized by Carlo Antonio Borghi with
artworks by Kre MBaye, Seni MBaye, Morin Diop, Alain Coulibaly, Awa MBaye,
Fatoumata Coulibaly.
On May 14 of 2006, at the Door of No Return of the House of the Slaves, again with the control of Joseph NDiaye,
curator of the House of the Slaves, it was measured the advancement of the sea
erosion in front to the Door of No Return. The measurement was also
symbolically performed by Assane Mbaye and Sandro Dernini with a 623 feet long roll-meter made by 418 digital art
contributions, reproduced in A3 size, arrived to the Plexus Virtual Gallery
from artists around the world. Then, the long art roller meter was exhibited at
the 3° Triangle of Art Festival of the Medina, within the Biennale DakArtOff,
together with the data and documentation made in Goree.
From May 29 to June 7 of 2006,
in the old City Hall of the Medina-Dakar, the Third
Edition of “Le Triangle de l’ Art Festival” was staged by Plexus
International, with the
patronage of the Italian Embassy in Senegal and the Ministry of Cultural of
Senegal. It was addressed to the theme of “art, culture and food in the
sustainable development.” It was organized by COSEFIT with Plexus International
Forum Onlus, in collaboration with Club Litteraire David Diop, ADEME and
International Sports and Entertainment Connection, featuring Amadou Niang, Sandro Dernini...
On May 11 of 2006, at the Zambelli Garage, in Caglairi, it was held the
fund raising Gagarin Auction
organized by Pietro Zambelli, Sandro
Dernini, Marilisa and Carlo Antonio Borghi, in support to the 3° Triangle of Art Festival, planned in the
Medina of Dakar, from 19 to 21 May 2006, within the DakArtOff. artworks by Kre MBaye, Seni MBaye, Alain
Coulibaly, Alioune Badara Fall dit Prof, Morin Diop, Hamidou Sall dit Sall

On March 8 of 2006, International Women Day, in Rome, at the Vascello Theatre, a
collateral event to the Act 4, Part 2 of the Erosions and Renaissance Show
staged in Barcelona by Plexus International, it was organized by Donne in Nero
to address the erosion of the women's
rights and peace in the world and to sign the call by Codepink against the war.

On March
8-9, 2006, World Women’s Day, in Barcelona, at the VI International Congress on
the Mediterranean Diet the
closing of the act 4 of the Erosions and Renaissance Show was
presented on
board the Ark of the Well Being, in collaboration with the Foundation for the Advancement
of the Mediterranean Diet. It was made to alert that hunger, malnutrition and food insecurity are eroding the
cognitive capacities of the
